ICOONE Med 2: regeneration and pain relief therapies

Therapies use ICOONE Laser Med 2, the medical version of ICOONE technology, intended for aesthetic treatments as well as tissue regeneration, rehabilitation, reduced myofascial tension and support for pain management.

Treatment is performed in a special, individual treatment suit, which can be purchased at the clinic.

ICOONE Laser Med 2 is a CE-marked medical device intended for use according to the medical purpose specified by the manufacturer. It features specialist medical programmes with parameters developed for particular tissues and functional concerns.

These are therefore not standard cosmetic programmes or conventional vacuum massage. They are procedures performed using the medical version of the device, in accordance with the manufacturer’s intended protocols.

ICOONE cosmetic programmes primarily focus on skincare, body appearance, improved tightness and reduced visible cellulite and swelling.

Medical programmes in ICOONE Laser Med 2 were developed for functional and regenerative work. They consider specific tissue needs, tension type, symptom location and treatment goals.

Excessive muscle and fascial tension can cause pain, stiffness, overload and restricted freedom of movement. Icoone Med allows gentle tissue mobilisation and may support relaxation and improved local circulation.

Therapy may provide support for:

• tension in the back, neck and shoulder-girdle muscles,
• symptoms related to prolonged sitting,
• muscular overload,
• stiffness and reduced tissue elasticity,
• discomfort after intense exercise,
• tension in fascia and tendinous structures,
• recovery needs after training or competition.

Not every pain condition is suitable for device-based therapy. Acute, unexplained or long-lasting pain requires prior investigation.

Icoone Med may form part of preparation for exertion and recovery after training. Therapy is tailored to activity type, current tissue condition and the training plan.

Impaired lymphatic drainage can cause swelling, heaviness, skin tightness and discomfort. Icoone Med allows very gentle, even work with the lymphatic system.

A scar may change skin appearance and also cause pulling, local stiffness, limited tissue glide and discomfort during movement.

Precise Icoone Med handpieces allow controlled mobilisation of a scar and surrounding tissues. Treatment may support softening, improved elasticity and reduced tension related to adhesions and fibrosis.

Programme selection follows history-taking, assessment of symptoms and exclusion of contraindications. The area, duration, handpiece and microstimulation intensity are then determined.

ICOONE Laser Med 2 therapies may support regeneration and pain management, but do not replace diagnosis, medical treatment or physiotherapy. Unexplained, acute or persistent pain requires medical consultation.

Treatment is preceded by consultation and tissue assessment. The specialist selects the programme, vacuum intensity, handpiece and duration. Parameters may be modified according to sensitivity, concern location and regeneration stage.

Treatment is performed on intact, healed skin. It should be comfortable, with intensity continuously adapted to the patient’s response.

A series of treatments is most often recommended. Number and frequency depend on the condition, tissue state and individual response.
